The latest round of the Central League was held on a foggy Box End lakeside venue with a number of testing draggy climbs and tuffty grass. Well done for a good event from the Beds Road on a first time promotion!

The Central Region Cyclo-Cross Championships will be incorporated into the Southern Area Championships to be held at Bristol on 4th December. There are no other events on other than the various area championships.
All riders with Central on their licence are eligible. Medals will be awarded according to the numbers participating in each category up to first three riders. These medals will be awarded at the prize presentation to be held after the final CentralCXL event promoted by Twickenham CC at Hillingdon on 11th December.

Below are the current standings after the Icknield RC 'cross last weekend. Note that as that was the 6th event out of the 9 in the league, that the League rules state that the best 6 out of 9 rounds will count, so it is possible that some of you that have ridden all 6 rounds so far may find it difficult to gain many more points - although preventing others from scoring is possibly just as important! Also note that points scored depends on the category of the races. |
